Fanizzi’s Restaurant Celebrates Patriot’s Day 2016

It’s Patriot’s Day Weekend!  It’s the 241st Anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord here in Massachusetts.

Each year in mid-April, thousands of people flock to historic Lexington and Concord and Minute Man National Historical Park to celebrate Patriots’ Day. Patriots’ Day is a special Massachusetts State holiday commemorating the opening battle of the American Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775.

The holiday (Officially observed on Monday, April 18, 2016), and the entire weekend, is celebrated with parades, reenactments and commemorative ceremonies.

In Provincetown, it’s a bit of a sneak peek of summer. We have many visitors from New England and beyond in town this weekend. Make your lunch, brunch, and dinner reservations at Fanizzi’s by the Sea. We welcome everyone celebrating our rich history!

Suddenly, you feel like you’re in a car wash!

Recorded April 7, 2016, this was a pretty tame storm at Fanizzi’s by the Sea. It was tame enough that we had the bay front dining room open and allowed lunch patrons to have window seats. We do get storms that are far worse than this. When that happens, we do not let diners sit in the bay room because high tide comes directly under the dining room – in addition to pounding the windows, far worse than this. We have to pull the hurricane shutters down during those big storms. Check out more storm photos.

Join us at Fanizzi’s by the Sea for fabulous food and our bay front, beach front, and yes WATER front dining in Provincetown on Cape Cod bay for lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, early birds, drinks at the bar, and Friday Fish Fry.
